Milestones

Just a quick update to let you know lots of pictures have been uploaded to Flickr (see right). Keegan is almost one year old! He is officially crawling now (he was doing the commando creep for a while). He is starting to pull himself up on things (his favorite spot is the dishwasher door when it is open). He wants to eat everything you are eating and will complain loudly when he doesn’t get it. He can say a few words:

“appuh” Apple
‘nana (for you know, banana)
“arf” and panting is Doggie and/or Murphee
“Bah” Ball
plus he can make those cool car noises that boys can make instinctively.

He loves Clifford the Big Red Dog. He loves to play ball and play with the cars. He is sleeping longer these days - YAY! We will be taking him in for his 1 year check up sometime soon. He must weigh around 23 pounds now. He loves seaweed, mangos, rice, chicken, and lentils (when it is mixed with sweet potatoes). All is good. Oh yeah, I think he just cut tooth number 9 yesterday. His right canine. His molars are just itching to come up, too. I thought they would be first.

Zoey is doing very well. We just signed her up for some ballet classes this summer. She is very excited. Last night she got dressed up in her ballet outfit ready for class.

Murphee is doing okay. We took her to the vet for a checkup yesterday and they found a lump about the size of a large gumball on her leg!?! They biopsied it and it looks to be just fatty tissue, but it is in an unusual spot. So, we are keeping an eye on it. We may have to have surgery to remove it. Other than that she is doing great. Yesterday Zoey was throwing the ball for her with the new mini size chuckit and since she doesn’t throw very far, Murphee got a lot of exercise running a short distance and bringing it back. Zoey was very proud of herself. It was awesome to watch.
