Smell the Awesome

The kitchen is full of the smell of roasting beets and simmering veggie stock. It smells insanely great in here, and I’m sure the goodness is wafting down the hall and into the rooms where everyone else is sleeping. I hope that for Zoey and Keegan smells like this become inextricably tied to memories of good times spent with family and friends.

We’re doing a lot of our Thanksgiving food a bit differently this year due to Rona’s allergies, but I suspect that even the gluten- and dairy-free dishes are going to rock as much as the more traditional ones.

I’m looking forward to it.
