I’ve mentioned my friend Jampet here before, when he rode his skateboard in the Seattle to Portland bike ride last year, most of the way without pushing with his foot. He’s going to do it again this year, this time to raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. To warm up a bit he recently pumped his skateboard the 2.8 miles around Greenlake. 65 times. That’s right around 184 miles. Oh—he did this in 24 hours, from sunrise to sunrise.

You can see a video on YouTube. (It’s not 24 hours long.)

He has an ongoing pledge page on kintera.org. He has raised over $2,300 so far for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, with a goal of $5,000. If you help him out by making a pledge, maybe he’ll help you out by hauling trash to the dump on his skateboard. Hey, it can’t hurt to ask…
