This morning I posted a photoset to Flickr, with a bunch of new photos of Keegan’s birth. All the photos are work-safe and family-friendly. I have some more I’ll be adding to the set, hopefully later today.

Keegan was born this morning, 05/06/07, at 9:12am. He weighs 10 pounds, 1 ounce, and is 22.5″ long! His chest is 38cm, and his head is 37cm.
Mama and baby are doing great. Next up I’ll be posting some photos!
Active labor started around 5:45.
Dr. Tracy, Dr. Molly, and student Kat arrived around 6:20. At 6:35 Rona was dilated to 7 cm, which is awesome.
Zoey woke up around 7-something, cheerful as ever.
Rona’s doing awesome, baby is doing awesome, and it seems like it shouldn’t be too much longer…
Okay, we are so not really going to liveblog this experience, but we can at least give you night owls a little info.
Rona had a little pop and gush of water breakage at about 2:15 am today, followed up by increasingly powerful contractions. She woke me up at 3:20 or so to fill me in. [...]
Today we went to Enat restaurant near Northgate Mall for delicious veggie Ethiopian food for Rona’s birthday lunch. This is where we ate dinner the night before Zoey was born. True to form, contractions, which had slacked off yesterday and all night and morning, picked up again during lunch, and have kept it up ever [...]
Rona’s taking a nap, and trying not to have the baby today. After a while I’m going to go out and get her a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake (her favorite, Jamocha Almond Fudge ice cream w/ white cake). That’s it for now. We’ll let you know if Baby Keegan decides he wants to highjack [...]
