Today was Rona’s three-week post-partum visit, so we packed everyone up in the car and headed off to Seattle Natural Family Medicine (SNFM, or “Snaffum,” as it’s affectionately called at our house). Rona’s doing great, and Dr. Tracy got her baby-holding fix.
Holding said baby is no mean feat these days. He lost 3 ounces between birth and his 7-10 day checkup, wasting away to a measly 9 pounds, 14 ounces. Today we stripped him down and plopped him on the baby scale, and he weighed in at 10 pounds, 11 ounces. That means he packed on 13 ounces in 9 days. Way to go, Little Brick!
We’ll of course be posting new photos soon, so stay tuned!
