We took Zo to get her very first haircut yesterday. We went to Beachcomber Kids Cuts in Phinney Ridge. We had been talking about getting her a haircut for at least a month now and she was very excited. Since she began to do her twirly hair thing with her finger, she was starting to get these knots in her hair and some were becoming dreadlockish. So, instead of me cutting them off and making her hair all lop-sided, we needed a professional.

Zoey did a fantastic job! They, of course, had the the cool turtle seat to sit in and the cool movies to watch (Dora is her latest favorite—but, please we don’t need any Dora videos, in case you were wondering. Do you know how many times they repeat everything single thing very loudly?)

Zoey's First Haircut - 29The woman was very nice who cut her hair. She even saved some curls for a keepsake envelope and on a certificate. It was very sweet. Now Zoey’s hair looks beautiful! It is all trimmed up and maybe we will take her back in another year or so when it grows longer. :-) Please see the pictures in Flickr.

Baby News: Not much on this front. No baby yet.
