If, for some reason that is now lost to the haze of time, we loaned you a blue Graco infant carseat some time in the past two or three years, we’d really like to get it back. We had two of them back when Zoey was a wee tot, and it really makes things handy to be able to take either vehicle without moving the carseat base. I’ve gone through our garage with a fine-toothed comb (or at least a flashlight and a lot of moving around of stuff), and only one baby carseat turned up. The missing carseat features blue upholstery and has a blue adjustable-height base.

If this sounds at all familiar to you, could you please take a look in your garage or storage unit or wherever you would have put such a thing, and let us know if you come across it?

Thanks!

  1. I may have an extra Car Seat. I’ll check when there’s more light.

  2. Graco car seats have interchangeable bases. If you have one seat, and one baby, you really only need two bases to make things work with two cars. Babies R Us and other places sell extra bases — there are two Graco base models, so make sure you know which one you need. I think they are around $25 to $30.

  3. Well, yeah, I know they’re interchangeable. But we own two buckets and two bucket bases. We just aren’t sure where one set of bucket + base is, and I think we loaned it to someone. I’m really looking for the base. And don’t want to buy one if we can retrieve our spare from the ether for free.

Coincidentally, (or not) I’m getting an inkling of an idea that arkaye, above (aka Grandpa Robert) might well be to whom we loaned the Graco goodness, if for no other reason than I can’t imagine who else we would have loaned it to.
