We thought we were doing great with this whole parenting idea of giving your toddler two options so that they could make their own choice and feel powerful with it… At this tender young age of almost three (!), Zoey has crafted her own answer.
Me: Do you want to wear these blue jammies or the pink jammies to bed?
Zoey: hmmmm, this minnie mouse dress. How ’bout that?
Note to self: She is an outside of the box thinker already. Please help us when she is a teenager.
