The Thanksgiving Report

For Thanksgiving we had all four Hesses (Brian, Jen, Thyrza, and Barrett) and Auntie Bonnie come over, for a yumtastic, relaxing good time. Can I say yumtastic? Apparently I can. We roasted a turkey with Italian sausage/apple stuffing (featuring a loaf of French bread and a loaf of garlic sourdough), the Hesses brought terrific sour cream mashed potatoes, nicely done green beans, and a family recipe cranberry relish. Bonnie brought three pies, and the Hesses also brought a delectable, made-from-scratch orange cheesecake. I didn’t manage to get the camera out until after we’d already eaten, but I’ve posted what I did take to Flickr. We have a bit of video, too, which proves that Rona and Bonnie were present, but I haven’t edited it yet. Not sure if it’s an exciting enough piece of cinematography to spend the time on, actually. I guess we’ll see or not see.
