For Thanksgiving we had all four Hesses (Brian, Jen, Thyrza, and Barrett) and Auntie Bonnie come over, for a yumtastic, relaxing good time. Can I say yumtastic? Apparently I can. We roasted a turkey with Italian sausage/apple stuffing (featuring a loaf of French bread and a loaf of garlic sourdough), the Hesses brought terrific sour [...]
Two weeks ago today (the day after we went to Bellingham) Zoey’s friend Elliott from last year’s Olympic Toddlers preschool brought his parents (Cheryl and Eric) over to play. We ate chili, watched Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and had a cracking good time!

Zoey: “Maybe not. Yucky noodles.”
Me: “You asked for chicken noodle soup! It’s good. Have some noodles.”
Zoey: “Maybe not.”
Zoey’s first Trick-or-Treating experience went quite well. We went pretty early, what with the dark and the cold. We tried Steve & Karen’s house across the street, but they weren’t home. Next we hit Agnes’s house next door. Success! Miss Agnes was quite pleased to see Zoey, and seemed delighted when I told her that [...]
