11 weeks

Finally, the post Dr. Tracy post. We are now officially in our 11th week. (10 weeks and 5 days or something like that.) Things are going along just fine. The baby is about 1.5 inches and about a quarter ounce. It is developing hair and fingernails at the present week plus more I am sure, but that is what this cute new pregnancy calendar says.

Dr. Tracy says that our official due date is May 2, but the Internet keeps saying May 1. I have been kinda hoping the baby will be early and be born in April so she (?) can have her very own month. (My birthday is May 5th.)

The main differences I have noticed about this pregancy versus with Zoey, is that I have been having “morning sickness” every day, any time of the day. I haven’t actually thrown up yet, but yesterday was pretty close. Every day. I know it is a good thing… but, it gets really old after a while. Other than that, the pregnancy is going along splendidly.

In other news, Evan has been at the Green Ronin summit this whole weekend. I just see him as he snuggles into bed at night and for a short time in the morning. His parents, Evelyn and Earl, have been here for the weekend to help me out as I was teaching all day yesterday.

They have been so helpful! They play with Zoey, they buy us food and Earl fixes stuff!!! I am so grateful every time they come for a visit. This time, Earl put in a patio light in the back with a photo-sensitive cell, so that it will go on when it gets dark. Maybe some of you think this is no big deal… but, he had to wire the whole thing in and create the box and put up the photocell and put up the light itself! Pictures will follow. My computer is still on the fritz, so no pictures from me yet…

Zoey’s new word for Grandpa Earl is “PiPa”. [Note from Evan: Actually, Zoey first called Grandpa Robert "PiPa."]

Speaking of Zoey… She is still sleeping and it is 4:50pm. She went to sleep at about 1:15pm. Ahhh. Thanks Zo! I might have to wake her up is she doesn’t wake up soon or she will have to tuck me into bed tonight!
