While we’re on the subject of my awesome friends, I feel a need to mention James Peters, aka Jampet. James is a proponent/practitioner of long-distance skateboarding, specifically skate pumping, or “skumping,” in which the goal is to… Well, here’s how Jampet puts it on his Web site:
Skumping (skump’-ing) verbThe act of skateboarding long distances without [...]
My friend Nicole is walking with a team of friends in the 20th Anniversary Northwest AIDS Walk in Seattle to raise money for the Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Her team is kicking all kinds of butt in their fundraising efforts, and are featured on the list of top fundraising teams, above big companies like John L. [...]
A couple months ago (not sure exactly when, but it was before we got the new living room furniture) I filmed Zoey playing around in the living room, and happened to catch her doing her booty shakin’ dance, along with a lot of running around in a circle. With mambo music playing on the stereo [...]

Grandma Arlene was here for about two weeks. It was so great! She helped so much with Zoey [...]

Chris and Nicole and I got back from Gen Con last night, and my talented and adorable wife picked us up at the airport (thanks, Sweetie!). The show was great, as has been documented elsewhere, but I hope to post some of my own thoughts soon.
More important than that, though, is our working refrigerator! [...]
Well, Sears decided that they weren’t coming until Tuesday. My mom yelled at them for a while… and I have let it go. We have more important things to worry about. Although, the weirdest thing happened last night. I heard ice drop into the ice bucket. So, I checked to see if the water was [...]
