It’s finally cooled off here in Seattle, after several days in the 90’s. Here’s how we combatted the afternoon heat over the weekend. (And here’s the same photo on Flickr, a lot larger.)

Okay, so the outdoor sensor is mounted on the west side of the house and gets baked all afternoon before the sun goes down behind the houses and trees across the street from us. But it was still hot. Tonight it finally cooled off, though, so I predict good sleeping for all. Goodnight!

Lightning on the 4th of July
