This afternoon we had our star babysitter booked so we could go look at a house, but our agent is getting over a sore throat so instead Rona and I went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. We both enjoyed it, but several times we couldn’t help but comment to each other about the time dilation forced by crunching at least two long movies’ worth of story into a single long movie. The movie is basically the book on fast-forward. The three main kids look older at the beginning of the movie than they do at the end, so perhaps the beginning was filmed last. Harry and Ron are going to be shaving in between scenes by the time they finish filming this series.
Unrelatedly, it’s getting cold up here in Seattle. By chance we ran out of water in the water cooler tonight, and when I went out to get a new 5 gallon jug from the deck I noticed that the water in all the jugs was starting to crystalize. Having experienced the joys of cracked water bottles at least the previous two winters, I made sure to carry all the jugs in out of the cold.
Oh, and don’t despair—we’ll get some more photos posted soon.

Hello all. Hope this finds all of you enjoying the holidays and staying warm. Rona a couple of years ago we went to a store that sold curly ribbon on large rolls in many colors. I cannot remember where the store was or what the name is and I need to update my stock. I have used alot of what I had and will need more for the holidays. Just a little update. . .Lisa graduated last weekend from college and will take some time off before reenrolling this spring for her Masters. We are all good and looking forward to some time off. Hi Patty,
I sent you an email, too… but, just in case everyone else is interested, the ribbony store is called Packaging Specialties, http://www.ps-stores.com/ There is a store in Seattle on Michigan Street, in Redmond and Lake Oswego, OR. Awesome place! It has everything you could ever want to wrap something up with.
