…or rather Bills from Bill!
I got a check today from the Microsoft "Permatemp" class-action lawsuit, which was settled a long time ago and has since been languishing somewhere while various lawyers bickered over how huge a percentage of the "take" they each should receive. I don’t really care who got what, however–with this nice little windfall we’re looking at getting a Nikon D70 and a couple nice little things and putting the rest in savings. What a nice surprise, and it could hardly have arrived at a better time.
My pain and suffering over having once been treated like a permanent employee without the perqs or prestige is officially assuaged.
