Yes, our new water heater is super duper! And we found out that we have “low water volume” not “low water pressure” - big difference! We are going to get a bid to find out how much to repipe the main water pipe and repipe under the house with copper pipes. Unfortunately, to repipe the main water pipe, I think we have to remove the cherry tree which is planted right above or else we will have one of those pipes screensaver style (all corners and crisscrosses, hee hee, sigh.). We will have to call an arborist, as well. I think adding all that into the addition budget is a must. But with our new and shiny 52 gallon water tank we can still have enough water for the whole house including the addition with two more bathrooms! Sweet!

News on the little princess… of course, she didn’t sleep very well after her fabulous 10 hour night two (three?) nights ago. In all life, there is balance. However, she did sleep 8 hours in a row last night. We are greatful. Though, it wears off a little bit when after the eight hours, she wakes up every hour for four more hours. Oh well.

On the food front for the Z-ster, I found puffed rice cereal with nothing else in it but rice! She loves that! It is nice to give her finger food for a while and keep her entertained (and Murphee, too, who patiently waits for it to drop to the floor –or the latest is that Zo will actually feed it to her). We also found brown rice crackers. Another bonus that nothing else is in it except for the brown rice! I love living in Seattle where we have all these options!

We had Shandra come and babysit again for us on Tuesday night, the Winter Solstice. We had a wonderful time and went to Buca di Beppo’s in Lynnwood. Deeelish! It was a magical night. We are diggin’ this whole babysitting thing! And Zoey was a very good girl for Shandra, too. YAY!

Well, I got a load of students this afternoon and then a rehearsal for Christmas Eve. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, then on Christmas Day, the Sass Family heads down to Portland for a couple days. Evan is putting our new roof rack on as I write this. On Sunday, Evan and I are playing trumpet for his parents’ church. It should be a fun time! My first gig with my sweetie. :-)

Happy Holidays everyone!
