No, we didn’t dress her up.
She did look at all the tricker-treaters a little funny, though. She couldn’t quite figure all that out. And she was sleeping for most of it. We had a record number of kids come by this year! I think it was about 30! Usually, we get about 10-15. We were the cool house on the block giving out full size Hershey bars. Yummy!
And yes, I had to indulge and eat one. And we found out that Zoey may have a “sensitivity” to chocolate. I was eating chocolate chip cookies this past week, too. Her poor little bum-bum. Very rashy. We think that chocolate is the culprit. So, no more chocolate for me for a while.
We had a wonderful time with my good friend, Michelle, aka, 1st Lt. Rakers. She is conducting a bunch with the Marine Band and having a great time. They are in Portland today, I think. Just another couple weeks on the road and she heads back to DC. It was so fun to hang out and catch up with her. She doted on Zoey the whole time. We went to Bento Sushi and had lots of sushi!!!! Yummy! It was so great to see her!
Later on Friday, Evan’s friends Michael and Loren came by to check out the house. Loren is an architect. It was awesome to see his ideas. Looks like we may be able to add on another 3 bedrooms, a family room, a dining room, and 2 more bathrooms all with a 2 car garage. Woohoo! It would be an “L” shape. I am so excited! Now, we just have to figure out the logistics.
We are, of course, open to accepting donations, both monetary and labor. ![]()
