wow, is it Monday already? Well, little miss Zoey has been sitting up all by herself! We can prop her up, put a toy in front of her and she will sit for all of about 20 seconds before she keels over. YAY Zoey! She is also getting super proficient at rolling. She can go the span of our living room in a matter of seconds. Her favorite ending spot is my stash of music corner. She really likes to chew on those trumpet concertos.
Gotta talk about the teeth. They really are coming anytime now… We can see her front teeth through her gums, moving on down. We can feel and almost see the bottoms coming. They are sooooo close to cutting through. But, we understand they come up and go down and come up and go down and it can take a super long time.
So, in three days, Zoey will be 7 months old. Can you believe it??? She is passing things from hand to hand. She is getting mad when a toy “falls” (she throws it down) or we take it from her and she wasn’t done with it. What a girl!
Evan and I got to see a couple movies (half at a time): The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise. We both really liked that one! And Love Actually… That was pretty good — mainstream Romantic Comedy. We also watched The Big Fish. I think Evan liked it more than I did. It was a very well done flick, though.
Things are moving right along. We are getting ready to take our northbound trip to visit Grandma Arlene and Grandpa Al in Lopez Island. It will be Zoey’s first ferry ride. Then on the return trip, we will visit Grandpa Lou and Rachel in Sudden Valley (just south of Bellingham). It will be a nice little mini vacation.
