quick update

Let’s see… this is just a quick update since we haven’t blogged in a while.

• Zoey has been master of rolling and rolling around. She can do it in either direction, and even throw in a couple turns here and there. She is also the push-up princess! She can get her torso up also — sometimes on her feet and sometimes on her knees (ala crawling). She can scoot backwards. She can sorta inch forward, but backward is the main direction. She is getting pretty good at sitting up on her own, too. She can almost do it all by herself!
• Our little trumpet recital went really well! All the kids did well in spite of the air conditioning going on the blink that day. It was a great time! And Zoey got to hang out with several moms and slept through most of it.
• We have discovered a most wonderful grilling sauce and marinade. Masala Maza Tandoori Grill Sauce. It is most awesome. We are going to grill with it again tonight! Yum!
• Remember that audition at Greenlake I had for a Quintet? Well, I got it! More info to come. The concert will be around May of next year.
