Ahhhh, the mattress seems to be working!!! Two nights ago Zoey had 100% improvement and slept only waking up every two hours. We had also given her some chamomilla to help with her teething, which I believe to be most of the culprit of these numerous night wakings. Ahhh, it was like paradise. She slept great on the new mattress! Very firm for all her side sleeping. She appeared to be much more comfortable because there was much less squirming going on.
Then, last night, she fell asleep and stayed asleep from 6pm til about 8am this morning!!! She woke up every hour and a half to two hours, but didn’t necessarily nurse. I am feeling very optimistic!
On developmental news, our little angel is now throwing stuff on the floor for us to pick up. She is doing that banging her arm and whatever is in it up and down on the chair thing, too. She is reaching for anything she can get her hands on, especially if we have her near the table.
A big Thank You goes to Cousin Evalynne and Aunt Lillian for tons of baby clothes from cousin Delanie. These are the cutest little dresses and hats and toys! And thanks to Dad and Barb for bringing them back on their trip to NY.
We are going to try out going to see an early matinee today with the Zo-ster. Harry Potter has been on our list since before it came out. Hopefully, Zoey will just sleep through it… otherwise, mommy and Zoey will be watching it from the back.
