Zoey has been master of rolling and rolling around. She can do it in either direction, and even throw in a couple turns here and there. She is also the push-up princess! She can get her torso up also — [...]
80: Temperature in degrees Fahrenheit right outside our back door. 84: Temperature in degrees Fahrenheit in our dining room. 94: Temperature in degrees Fahrenheit in my office (just a guess). 5: Minutes before 10pm, right now.
Time to go to bed in the air conditioned room.
This morning Zoey and I went for a drive while Rona taught, as we have on Saturday morning the past few weeks. Zoey slept well last night, too!!! She woke up at 11:30pm, 2:30am, 5:30am and 6:30am. What a glorious night. We even disrupted her schedule, too. She took a 2 1/2 hour nap starting at 3:30 yesterday afternoon. At about 6:15 we had to zip over to Greenlake, so we packed up Zo and Murph [...]
Zoey slept so well last night!!! She only woke up 4 times during a 12 hour night. It was great!!! So, now the analysis… was it the shot yesterday? Her naps were not spectacular… about an hour in the morning, an hour in the afternoon, and that’s about it. She was miss grumpy pants in [...]
We had a good trip to see Dr. Tracy. We talked about Food and Sleep. And we got a Hib shot. It was nap time, too. Zoey was not a happy girl. However, her stats are:
Weight: 18 pounds, 1.5 ounces… still in the 90th percentile. Height: 25 1/2 inchesHead circ.: 42 1/2cm

Ahhhh, the mattress seems to be working!!! Two nights ago Zoey had 100% improvement and slept only waking up every two hours. I got a message today from Rich. Some people, including us, were missed in the first baby email. Her name is PenelopeAnn (one word) Francis Rose LaMonte, and she was born Friday, July 2nd, at 2:42 AM by C-section. Word is they’re planning a trip West later this month, so we hope to see them [...]
We had a nice Fourth of July, spent pigging out in White Center (Oops! I mean Highland Park) with the Hesses Minus Thyrza. We brought fruit salad, corn on the cob, freshly baked pies made from the pie cherry tree in our front yard, and Tillamook Vanilla Bean ice cream (the finest in pie toppings). [...]
