This afternoon, as we were just sitting in the living room with Zoey enjoying a break, a ladybug flew in and landed on Zoey’s arm. It was so cool! It means good luck, right? It also means that I always leave the back door open without the screen door… and bees also come it. They are wacky kamakazi bees, too. They just dart down and up and sideways at random and super fast.

We had a fun trip to the dentist this morning. Zoey’s first visit. Well, it was actually for me. :-) But, all the gals there were so excited to see her. It is funny to say Zoey is teething to a dentist.

Gosh, can’t believe it is June already. Only two more weeks of school. It will bring an interesting change to my teaching schedule. I have a little 3rd grader (going into fourth) just chomping at the bit to take lessons and start playing trumpet. He is the brother of a student I am already teaching. Fun!

If any of you are wondering about the Zoey sleeping situation… well, we had a GREAT night two nights ago — she slept 4 1/2 hours, woke for about 10 minutes of nursing, then slept for another 3 hours!!! It was just absolutely awesome. Last night was a completely dramatically different story. She slept for 2 hours, then woke up every 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. Arg. Me and Evan are exhausted today.

Here’s to hoping for a great night tonight!
