Or at least right now. I took a little too long getting everything ready to take Zoey and the Murphster off to Golden Gardens dog park this morning, so l’il Zo fell asleep in her Kick ‘n’ Play. Murphee is on the couch, watching Zoey sleep with mournful eyes.

This is Rona’s big teaching day, with lessons in the morning and early afternoon at Eckstein Middle School (Rona attended there herself!) and then some more teaching here at home. After the last lesson we’re packing Zoey into her plush carseat and heading off to see Barrett sing and tapdance in the gala premiere of Roosevelt High School’s production of 42nd Street, complete with dinner.

Ah, the jingle of the plastic hangy things on the Kick ‘n’ Play… The silence is ended, and we’re off to Golden Gardens.

  2. Hmm… When you delete a comment it just changes it to “This post has been removed by the author.” That’s not quite deleting, now is it?
