Zoey had her 6 week check up yesterday. It went very well. Our little girl eats like a champ. She has gained 2 pounds and one ounce in three weeks bringing her weight to an even 11 pounds. The average gain is 1/2 a pound a week so… way to go, Zo! She is still 23 inches, but to us, she seems longer. Oh well. She did have a couple of minor rashes going on… seems we dress her a bit too warm. whoops. So, off come the sleepers during the day! She is doing much better. And just a little bum-bum rash. We have some "baby bottom cream" to take care of that. I guess it is a yeast rash in nature, so we have some baby acidophylus to add to the bottle, too. It comes with the cutest little measuring spoon, probably a 1/16th teaspoon or something. Everything else, A-OK.
A nice thing is that we are now begining to add dairy back into my diet to see if she is allergic or anything. Woohoo! We celebrated with ice cream cake last night. 
Bring on the cheese. So, far so good.
A special Thank You to you all who wished us a happy anniversary. Yes, one year ago yesterday, Evan and I were married in the Seattle Center Planetarium under the "stars". For pictures, see our wedding section in Frogtaco.com and click the space picture. Wow, time just flew by! It has been the best year of my life! We celebrated with sushi and the aforementioned ice cream cake.
