Zoey has been out on the town the past couple days. Two nights ago, she and Evan came to my rehearsal at St. James. Zoey slept through choral music and super loud brass and organ music and lots more. I was very proud. It was a pretty long rehearsal, too! I think she only woke up a couple of times to eat.
Then last night, she went with Evan to his Thursday night gaming group at Chez Green Ronin. I expected her to be throwing the dice for her daddy and/or blowing on them for good luck.:-) But, I heard that instead of gaming, there was just some good hanging out, talking and baby holding time. Oh, and hamster "show and tell" from Kate. Congrats on your new little furry buddy, Kate!
Today, we will be heading over to Microsoft to hang out for a while. Nothing like getting Zoey started in programming early.
We have another cranio session scheduled with Dr. Faith tomorrow to help with Zoey’s growth spurt. I am hoping with Faith’s help, Zoey will be feeling lots better as she grows this next week. She has been a bit on the grumpy-pants side lately. We have our next appointment with Dr. Tracy on Tuesday. We will find out her latest stats like weight and height, etc. All we can say is that she is really growing because both of our backs and arms are getting sore from holding her. A neat thing is that her eye lashes are growing in. They started to grow about two weeks ago, but right now they are long and have a nice curl to them. And they are red!
Last chance for y’all if you want to come to the Great Music for Great Cathedrals concert tonight and tomorrow night at 8pm at St. James Cathedral. We had the dress rehearsal last night and it went really well. After these concerts are over, I can get more than 4 1/2 hours of sleep! I am coming home late — into my sleeping shift. Bummer. But, it is going okay. I can get another maybe two hours here and there during my Zoey shift in the morning.
Evan has been taking up my slack (since I have been gone to play concerts and my students have started back up) on taking care of Zoey. He has been doing great! Thanks sweetie!
That’s the latest news — have a great Friday!
