Zoey’s been showing off her fussy side the past couple days, as her gastro-intestinal tract comes to life to process first colostrum and increasingly milk. She’s actually been really great this evening, sleeping on my lap in a baby sling while I worked, up until getting her PKU test heel poke. She calmed down from that pretty quickly, though, and slept through a visit from Grandpa Lou and Grandma Rachel. They kindly brought us yummy food from Jai Thai at Northgate, and silently suffered through holding Zoey while we ate. Now she’s awake again, and is crying in the background while I type. I’ll go out in a bit and relieve Mommy.
