Angela raises a fine point in the comments–indeed, what about Rona’s baby pic?
I respectfully retract any previous implication, intentional or perceived, that Zoey only looks like me. I now submit that either she looks like both of us, or all babies look the same to me:
Just a quick comparison study before I take Murphee out to Golden Gardens this morning. I’m pretty sure I’m the one on the right:
Sorry for the break in updates–one missed day led to another, and now here we are. Things have been great in Zoeyland. Ever since Doctor Faith worked her CST mojo on Zoey on Tuesday, feedings have been long and frequent, and outflow activity has increased proportionately. Her crying has reduced in inverse proportion to her [...]
Last night after I posted, of course Zoey got cranky. We called the Seattle La Leche League leader, who said that everything sounded normal and that we shouldn’t be worried. Then we called Dr. Tracy, who said that everything sounded normal and we shouldn’t be worried, but that we might try taking a slow walk [...]
Zoey had a good day today! We don’t know if it is the Mother’s Milk tea from Traditional Medicinals or if it just took a week for the milk to fully come in and for Zoey’s GI tract to warm up. Of course, tonight and tomorrow could be completely different, we know…
Here’s Grandpa Robert sharing [...]

Since I started writing that Little Z woke [...]

Zoey’s been showing off her fussy side the past couple days, as her gastro-intestinal tract comes to life to process first colostrum and increasingly milk. She’s actually been really great this evening, sleeping on my lap in a baby sling while I worked, up until getting her PKU test heel poke. She calmed down from [...]
Here’s Zoey with Grandma Arlene, wearing a lovely new hat (Zoey’s the one with the hat, that is):
Here’s Sleepy Pete / Little Z / The Zster / The Zmeister Z-ing away on Grandpa Earl’s lap:
