I don’t think Tom Petty was talking about labor. So far we’re just taking it easy. Yesterday morning and this morning we took Murph out and walked a mile around the track at Lakeside School, with breaks inbetween laps for walking up a little hill by the Home football stands and back down the stairs. Two handrails, no waiting. Rona gets tired about halfway through the mile, which is no wonder, but she would keep on walking if she could. I’m thinking it’s not many women this close to having a baby who manage to walk even one mile. I’m so proud of my little walker!
Anyway, after walking we get in some eating and resting and some manic nesting or fudge making. Today it was peanutbutter fudge–yummy! Barb dropped by with Rain and Sage (Zoey’s cousins) and the Sony Handycam. It’s a neat little gadget that records video onto little videotapes, or still photos onto a memory stick. It has all sorts of features that whoever ends up taping the birth will hopefully not waste much time playing around with. Robert came by and went and got us takeout lunch at Red Robin. Now Rona is laying down with Murphee for a nap, and we’re back to the waiting–the easiest part.
