…was playing games at our last doctor appt yesterday. Our little Zoey decided apparantly to do some gymnastics and appears to be breach. If she decides to stay that way, we will be heading over to the UW hospital to give birth as we can’t do breach births at home. However, there are lots and lots of exercises and fun stuff (with flashlights and headphones) we can do to turn her around. We did some of that already. There is also massage and acupuncture. And she was moving around a ton last night, when her daddy and I were explaining to her how important it is to be head down right now.
What are the next steps? We have a tentative appt for yet another ultrasound to find our for sure if she is head up or head down on Friday afternoon. However, we are doing as much as we can to turn her and we are going back to Dr. Tracy tomorrow afternoon to do another exam. If she can feel her head… we don’t have to get another ultrasound and we are clear for home birth.
The other notes of interest are that our official due date is now January 13th. I am sure she will be coming before then… but we have to have an official one in order to have the window for home birth, which will begin on December 22.
We also have ordered our diaper service (and they even delivered already for the event of an early birth). These guys are great so far. If you are interested in a baby gift and can’t think of anything (or maybe it is because we have not been very good about setting up a registry on Amazon)… please check out Seattle Baby Diaper Service.
So, that’s the latest news. More to come tomorrow afternoon — good news, we hope!
