Ahhh, the wonderful world of glucose testing. Four times a day for seven days. But, I am very happy to say the past three days have been within the "allowable" numbers for normal glucose blood levels. YAY! I have also been very good and have not been eating anything with wheat, simple carbs or fruit. So, my blood levels have certainly stablized.

Since Friday, I have been taking an advanced Craniosacral course up at Bastyr University. It has been an incredible experience as it was a lot of hands-on work with somato-emotional releases. A very interesting thing that came out from my being worked on, was my feelings on being limited and constricted (like not being able to bend over and pick up something) and a part of me that feels very free and limitless flying out in the Universe (like in dreams). And an insight that came through was that since me and Zoey are so connected I may be feeling a lot of what she is going through — coming from the Universe (or where ever you feel that souls come from) and being constricted and limited in a little body inside a womb continually trying to push boundaries and probably feeling frustrated sometimes. It was like a lightbulb went off in my head and I felt very connected to Zoey as I can totally and completely understand what she could be going through.

What incredible work emotional releases are. There is so much that is stored in the cellular memory of the body and once it is tapped into and released, headaches go away, migraines go away, back pain goes away, it is like magic.

And during this time, Evan has been wonderful and made me lots of food that I can eat (protein, complex carbs, and veggies) ready to go so I don’t even have to think about it. He is so wonderful and very nurturing!

We have also gone to one childbirth class. Very cool! It covered the physical and emotional sides of pregnancy and childbrith, how to prepare your home for birth, and some things that can help in moving labor along as well as slowing it down. Dr. Bonnie had a cool pelvis section of a skeleton and showed how the baby progresses down the birth canal. And how just by walking and doing stairs, the woman can open her pelvis wider so that the baby can manuever herself further down if she is stuck a bit. It was an incredible visual. We also saw a nice slide show of births. Next Wednesday is: Stages of Labor.

So, just a quick update on Zoey: Major kicking and turning around. She had the hiccups for the first time on Saturday! From american baby.com: Week 31

"He’s entering a growth spurt. For the next eight weeks, he’ll gain weight faster than he increases in length, at the rate of about half a pound a week. The bigger he gets, the harder it will be to "see" him on ultrasound and get a good estimate of his size–the margin of error increases to 15 percent by the end of the third trimester. But he’s definitely growing fast, and you’ll notice that his kicks will start to feel more like squirming as he runs out of room to roam."

Yep.
