We are getting ready for our trip to the Big Apple. Getting the last students of the week going… cleaning up the house so we don’t come home to surprises… you know the drill. It is usually so hectic to get everything ready to go and to think of stuff you might forget, and then you just wait in lines at the airport, at the security check point, at the gate, and the long plane ride itself. But, we are really looking forward to our trip. It will be nice to see my NY cousins again and for Evan to see NY for the first time. And mostly likely, our last little vacation before little Zoey arrives.

So, quick update on Zoey: she is bouncing around in there. Evan felt a kick for the first time last night. He said “Hello Zoey!” and then she responded by a little love kick. :-) So, we are just getting into week 23.

From American Baby.com:

“The end of this week is an important milestone: Your one-pounder would have a good chance of survival if born now–about 85 percent if given the right care. His body is well proportioned, although lacking in body fat, and the blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare for breathing.”

We may be doing quick updates from the East Coast using the Wi Fi technology via Starbucks or the Library or Barnes and Noble perhaps. Very Exciting!
