Just about every day I get a message IN ALL CAPS from “Mrs. Dr. Martins Ikechi” or some similar name in Nigeria or some other African nation who wants me to give them my bank account information so they can stuff millions of dollars into my account.
Today they write, (twice) “I am DR Martins Ikechi, the personal Assistance to the late Nigerian Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federal ChiefBola Ige, who was murdered on 23rd of December 2001 by unknown persons.”
Mmm hmm…
I can’t imagine why anyone would ever fall for this (it’s called the “Nigerian Scam”) but they sure do. If you get an email message from someone you don’t know, just delete it. Please, before anyone else gets hurt.
