Okay, so for various reasons our Official Due Date has been changed to February 6, which puts us right back in Week 14, officially, anyway. We’re pretty sure we’re in week 17 or 18, so what say we post the Week 17 Update?
Baby:
According to AmericanBaby.com, "At 4 to 5 inches long and about 7 ounces, your baby is roughly the size of a large pear. And she’s ripening–the brain, muscles, nervous and circulatory systems, and urinary tract are all functioning. Amniotic fluid is pumping through her lungs. Her skeleton, composed of rubbery cartilage, will harden later."
Mommy:
Eating: Blueberries, Kefir, Drunken Noodles (they’re not really drunken), Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies (yum!)
Doing: Sleeping, eating, walking, teaching, healing, nesting
Wanting: Fall, sunny days, brisk air, pretty leaves, autumn smell
Daddy:

Eating: Drip coffee, phad see ieu, iced Venti Americano, Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies (yum!)
Wanting: Rise of Nations, time to play it, more time to work, big Lotto jackpot
Doggie:
Ball! Ball! Ball! Ball! Ball!
The Latest:
We’re going to get a second ultrasound done in about six weeks, when we’re at or past 20 weeks no matter what twisted calendar you use. Hopefully the little one will spread ‘em, and we can know for sure if we need to come up with a good boy’s name. For those playing along at home, if we have a girl she’ll be named Zoey Amber Sass.
