They are on the move again. After a delightful lunch and break at the Sass ranch in Portland yesterday afternoon, Evan, Eric and Chantelle made it to Grants Pass, OR by 1am this morning. They stayed in a kitty-friendly hotel and slept in. Ahhh. They left at about 11:30am this morning. Only about 5 hours to go.
They are caravanning one car and a truck towing another car. One fun thing Evan mentioned is that the cool Sam’s Club collapsable cooler-bag (which is not listed on Sam’s Club’s website, but the company is California Innovations) which only cost about $7.00 still had the frozen ice water we packed on Wednesday morning that sat in a hot house all day and night and then in the truck all day Thursday. By Thursday night, most of the waters were still frozen! We highly recommend it! And ours looks like a small beach bag or something and can fold up and velcro together to cram in a backpack when you are done. Amazing. A great buy!
Hopefully, they will make it all the way to Fairfield, CA safely by early tonight. Unloading the big truck will begin tomorrow, I am sure.

At least is isn’t too hot down there for them! Have a safe rest of your drive everyone!
