This is Rona, blogging my first blog, for my sweetie who is now on I-5 southbound. Yesterday we both helped Eric finish up packing and loading his home and kitties up into the Penske 2004 (nice!) truck. It was super hot all day. The Hesses and Jim came over around 5pm to help. Thank goodness! We were aiming to be finished by 9pm but I think they were still wrapping up around midnight. I had to bail and take off by 8:30… being pregnant and all… (good excuse, eh?)
So, Evan called this morning at about 8am and said they were on the road, in search of the nearest Starbucks and heading to Portland for the first pit stop to pick up Chantelle. I think the twins are going down with Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Earl.

Pregnancy update: nothing really new to report. I am getting bigger. It is a bit harder to find a comfy sleeping position. Had a craving for sour patch kids candy the other day and ate a whole bag in one sitting. I guess it was a tart-sweet thing. 
I will continue to update on the California roadtrip as I hear it. I am looking forward to seeing my sweetie again on Sunday morning.
